For Mother's Day Brian bought me tickets to one of my favorite artists: Gavin DeGraw! And he was co-headlining with Colbie Caillat which made me super excited! The concert was actually the night that we went to Mahoney State Park, so needless to say it was a busy day! We hired a sitter and set off for Stir Cove at Harrah's Casino in Council Bluffs. It was my first time leaving Layla with a sitter so it was hard but we were past due for a date night and it was so good to get out with my hubby! Here are some pictures from the concert:

Colbie Caillat was an excellent live performer! She has an amazing voice and she was really fun to watch.
We got up closer to the stage and stood for a part of her set.

So happy!! Gavin DeGraw has been one of my favorite singers ever since college and I have been wanting to see him perform live for a long time!
He was an excellent live performer as well. It was honestly one of the best concerts I've ever been to! I love it when performers sing live and sound just like their songs on the radio or cd.
