Weekend Recap

Looking at the calendar this past weekend I realized it was by far our least busy weekend this September (and before Daddy leaves for deployment #4). :(  But true to our family it was pretty much jam packed and I think everyone had a great time.  I pretty much love 4 days weekends although today was a little rough trying to get back on track.  Anywho, here are some pictures from our weekend!

Friday morning we went to Bounce U which is a huge inflatable jump place.
  I swear I have 3 children sometimes..

Layla even got in on the bounce action

And then she decided it was naptime. All the while I'm trying not to think of the possibly gross things living on this bounce castle..ick...don't think about it.

And then she was up! More bouncing!

All the while I'm just chilling in the corner...

Brady went on this giant slide..

Layla and Daddy did too..and much fun was had by all.

After that we went to a pizza buffet. Girl can hang at a buffet.

No more pictures....too full....too tired.

Saturday I went to go check out the venue for our squadron's Christmas party that I'm helping to plan...beautiful!

Then we did some more park action because let's be honest, it'll be snowing before we know it.

The two sweatiest children this side of the Mississippi.

It was my genius idea to take pictures of them after they were playing

Christmas card picture, perhaps??

So happy to be taking pictures

This one is actually kind of cute..if she wasn't super dirty, sweaty, and hair all a mess.

And then there's this one. Wall framer for sure.

Sunday was a glorious, glorious day.  Originally we were going to head to Kansas City to do some shopping and to get away on a girls trip but with everyone's schedules it didn't quite work out so we had a stay-cation instead.

It was 8 hours of shopping, eating yummy foods, drinking a delicious beverage or two, relaxing, and just enjoying taking care of no one but myself!!

That evening when I came home Brian had baked me a cake and then told me it was my birthday cake (thus, the candle)??  He's going to miss my birthday again this year so nothing like a birthday cake a month early (not like I minded!).

Monday we had a lazy, lazy morning.

Spent more time outside and going for a walk

Brian worked more on the deck

Layla actually wore a bow in her hair for 40 minutes (thus, the tears).  And we celebrated the end of Labor Day weekend with a fun bbq at a friend's house.

I am going to really miss summer but I think I'm ready for all things fall...just not that thing that follows it...blah!

Omg, once again, your captions had me laughing out loud. No wonder my kids don't wanna nap. All they do is hear me laughing. But "girl can hang at a buffet" just slayed me. I think she and Molly could be BFFs. They already have matching outfits! ;)

Agree with Jenn - your captions were hilarious.

I think we are taking T to a bounce place this weekend. One last hoorah before baby brother gets here!
