Brady's Last Day of Preschool

One of the best things I ever did for Brady was send him to 3 year old preschool. Seriously.  I remember the open house for his preschool in February of 2013 when Brady was still a fun 2 year old (pretty sure he screamed at all of the other kids to stop touching 'his' toys) thinking there is absolutely no way he's going to be ready to go in the fall.  But over the next couple of months, over the summer, Brady became a much easier to manage 3 year old and I knew he was ready. On August 27th, I sent him off on his first day.  I remember how excited he was that day to go and how he ran to go hang his backpack up not looking back for a second for where I was.

He never once cried when I dropped him off at preschool and told me how much fun he had every single time he went. Brady matured so much in the months he was there. Now he looks forward to playing with other children, is a lot more caring and sensitive to others needs, will share without being asked to, and is such a good listener and helper.  Leaps and bounds from where we were at at age 2.

And since we were moving early I made the hard decision for us to go with Brian to Alabama and pull Brady out of preschool early.

We talked to him for weeks and he knew what was going on. Brady was so excited for his "last day"!

I ordered some airplane cookies from the nearby cookie store to give to all of his preschool friends.  As soon as I walked out of the store the wind caught the box but luckily I saved most of the cookies. Dang wind!

I put them in bags and tied a little note explaining that it was Brady's last day and that the Air Force was moving us since not all of the parents and kids knew. We were 1 of 2 military families in the class of 16 families so I'm sure it was a little confusing for some people. Thus, the cookies!

Brady with the sweetest preschool teachers ever!

We're going to miss that preschool so much but look forward to a new preschool in Colorado with new friends and new memories!

And Brady on his last day of preschool March 20th. He sure has grown and matured!  Love, love my sweet little guy.
