I love any reason to throw a party so I decided for all of our little friends I'd host a Halloween play date/party this past Monday.
I found the majority of my supplies at the dollar store and the Target $1 section
And just had a simple infant/toddler/preschooler friendly Halloween theme of pumpkins, black cats, and other friendly looking decor
I had a pumpkin with each of their names on it
And some fun Halloween baskets for trick or treating
We had a coloring station
A play with as many toys as you possibly can station
and a pin the nose on the pumpkin station
It was also our friends birthday so we of course had to sing Happy Birthday. If you need a way to get kids attention, just put a candle in a cupcake, the kids were mesmerized!
The kids also got to decorate their own mini pizzas too. I used Pilsbury's whole wheat biscuits, Contadina squeeze pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and then whatever toppings they wanted. I didn't get a picture of this because I'll be honest, it was kind of madness! But there were some really cute jack-o-lantern and mummy pizzas!
I also had a jack-o-lantern veggie tray
And I tried to make a mandarin orange/blueberry fruit tray that looked like a jack-o-lantern but that wasn't quite as easy!
After we ate the kiddos went and trick or treated around the room. Each mom brought a fun little snack/prize for each kiddo.
They were a little confused but it was fun!
Overall the Halloween play date was a ton of fun and a success!
Not easy to get a picture of all of the little ones though...
haha!

What a cute idea!
I had to check the address bar in my browser because excuse me, did I stumble upon PINTEREST?! Lord, woman! You can rock a deployment! Love the veggie tray. I've literally never seen that before, but now I want to do it.
