Sick of Halloween pictures yet? So sorry but here's more. Halloween was extra special this year for two major reason. First, Brian's been gone the last 2 October's and he was actually home this year which was amazing! This was the first time he's been able to celebrate Halloween with Layla and see her get all dressed up in her costume and go trick or treating. And the second reason was because Nana and Papa were here got to partake in all of the fun!
Thursday morning we had Brady's preschool Halloween parade. Loved seeing all of the cute kids in their costumes!
Oh yeah and this princess just HAD to wear her costume too. She was like that annoying girlfriend in the crowd. "Brady! Brady! I'm here! Hi, Brady! Hi!! I see you!! Brady, smile! Hi, Brady!"
Friday morning, actual Halloween, we started the day out with pumpkin and ghost (not pictured) chocolate chip pancakes..yum!
Then we headed to a local pumpkin patch.
And it was FREEZING! I think the windchill was in the low 30's. Lovely planning on my part.
But we found some awesome pumpkins!
And Halloween wouldn't be complete without lunch at Chick-Fil-A
Brian got home from work and we had to check on our stash of wigs downstairs.
Then we carved some pumpkins. For the seeds, of course. I chose the less messy way...and just drew a jack-o-lantern on my pumpkin.
And then it was time for costumes..my father in law scared the crap out of many people, me included.
And Brian, well he was scary in his own way.
I wasn't going to dress up but last minute decided to dress as Brian's beautiful pregnant cowgirl wife. We made a beautiful couple.
The kids were PUMPED! Rascal was too.
Nana the queen and Papa, the scary skeleton.
Brady wasn't afraid though, he was the strong and powerful Superman.
Luckily the wind died down a little so it wasn't as crazy cold as it was earlier. Not like the kids cared though. It was trick or treat time!
Queen Nana was awesome and handed out candy to the masses so we could take the kids out.
Our neighborhood was awesome. So many cool decorated houses and some houses even had haunted houses in their garages. So much fun!
So glad he was here, even if he looks super creepy.
Halloween 2014 was a success! We had 192 trick or treaters are our house which was definitely a record, we never got that many in Mississippi or Nebraska. Good thing I went out and bought more candy last minute!

Wow! You had so many trick or treaters! We had a grand total of eight. And our neighborhood is FULL of kids. I was really disappointed, but it WAS pouring down rain, so I guess I get it.
I love ALL the Halloween photos! ESPECIALLY the kids! They're so fun to look at it!
HAHAHAHA! Perfection!!
I love everyone's costumes! And wow - I didn't see any Elsa's in Brady's class! Did you mother in law really count all of the trick or treaters? Kudos to her!
