Today just seems like a bullet point sort of posting day, so here goes it.
- Brian had his squadron holiday party last Saturday night at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort (which is beautiful!). It was super fun to get dressed up and have some adult time. This was our first holiday party with this squadron but like most flying squadrons, it did not disappoint! We had a blast, stayed up way too late, and danced way too much (if that's a thing)!
Everyone (and I mean absolutely everyone) at the party was on the dance floor at one point.

Oh yeah and did I mention the kids were there too? Our sitter came and stayed in our room with the kids and went home after we got back. The kids got to go swimming, roast marshmallows, watch movies, and had just as much fun as we did I think!
- The weather, it's been interesting here. I swear it snows at least every 3 days, often times with very little warning. Friday we had an ice storm, Saturday was beautiful, sunny, and 50's. Sunday we got about 4 inches of snow, Monday we had crazy heavy fog, ice, and snow. Tuesday, more fog and more ice. Which means we spent A LOT of time at home since Brady's preschool got canceled.
We played many, many games. And did many, many crafts.
They play this new game where Brady is the daddy and Layla is the baby. They get along and it entertains them so "whatever"!
- I found the kiddos Christmas jammies. Well, I shouldn't go that far. Brady was in my closet and found them all wrapped up. And it was January 13th. Another whatever. They were thrilled about new pjs and I got a picture of them together. Next time I won't hide them so well!
- We're going on vacation next week (YIPPEE!!!!). We're going to sunny (and hopefully nice and warm) San Diego!! We're meeting up there with Brian's parents, his sister and her boyfriend, and hopefully we'll get to see Brian's grandparents there too before we fly out. We've never been and we're staying in beach cottages on the Navy property. If you've ever stayed there, visited, or lived in San Diego I'd love to hear the "must-do's" and/or "not worth your times". We're thinking of hitting up Sea World one day (free for military families of 4!) and other than that don't have much planned. So I'd love to hear the good things to do with kids, fun things to do with just adults, good places to eat, all of it! :)

I absolutely love your dress, you look stunning!
In love with the dress/color on you! Glad y'all had fun. :) If I remember correctly (and I might not be) I think Jenny from Creatively Blooming took her kids to San Diego and blogged about it? Maybe. If not, just go ahead and delete this comment and save me the embarrassment, thanks. ;)
Had to go look it up myself. Here's a starting point! :) http://www.creativelyblooming.com/2013/03/home-again-home-again-jiggety-jig.html

That definitely is crazy weather! I'm so over winter already!
Love your dress! Gorgeous! San Diego is so much fun! We did SeaWorld, Legoland, and an easy laid back day at Balboa Park and the beach. Legoland was by far the favorite with my kids. I can't wait to hear about y'alls visit!
You must have the best dress collection ever.
And I love that the xmas jammies were found...in January!
Gorgeous dress! I am jealous of your trip. SD was our favorite place in California!
